Scaffolding requires a set up time and obviously a significant footprint from which it can be built on. Sometimes, this is simply not possible.

Yet roof repairs still need to be performed on older homes frequently and that is where Rope Access comes in.

As you can see from the pictures, our rope access team were working on a building performing roof repairs. They were replacing cracked and missing slates which had created vulnerabilities in the roof and in one specifica area where the water damage had become too much – performed a timber section replacement.

A visual check of the roof highlighted an issue with the lead work which we were able to fix quickly for the client.
