What is rope access?
Rope Access is simply a collection of ropes and climbing equipment that is used for gain access to difficult to access and inaccessible areas. This is particularly beneficial for church steeples and other historic buildings where their complex building structure makes them difficult to access through traditional lift access mechanisms and scaffolding.
Rope Access is used predominantly when it is either not safe or is simply not possible to access a particular location with other means such as scaffolding. It is also significantly cheaper than scaffolding.
Visual Inspection using Steeplejack Services
Visual inspection of a building structure is one of the first steps that need to be taken to investigate any potential issues with a buildings stonework or roofing. Visual inspection of difficult to access locations such as church steeples is one of the most versatile and powerful tools available for building maintenance contractors. Rope Access Steeplejack services allows us to conduct visual inspections of historic buildings without the need for expensive scaffolding. The majority of the time, the repair work that is required can also be completed by our steeplejack team.
